Accessibility
WCAG 2.2 AA as a build standard, with known gaps published
Nonprofit staff and donors include people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation and significant zoom. Accessibility is a build requirement here, not a remediation project.
We target WCAG 2.2 level AA and have not commissioned an independent audit or published a VPAT. The gaps listed below are the ones we know about; if you find another, tell us and we will add it here.

What we build to
- Semantic landmarks, one main region per page and a skip-to-content link before navigation.
- Keyboard operation for every interactive control, including panels, menus and data tables.
- Visible focus indicators using brand colour rather than the browser default.
- Colour contrast meeting AA for text and interface components, in both light and dark themes.
- Labels bound to inputs; placeholder text is never used as the only label.
- Colour is never the only carrier of meaning — status also carries a label.
- Full support for prefers-reduced-motion: ambient and reveal animation is removed, not merely slowed.
- Responsive layout from 320px with tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on primary controls.
Known gaps
Active build- Complex data tables in the finance surfaces need better row and column header association.
- Some prototype charts have no non-visual equivalent; a data table alternative is planned for each.
- Long multi-step panels do not yet announce step changes to screen readers consistently.
- The marketing site's ambient illustration is decorative and hidden from assistive technology, but its adjacent content still needs a plainer description in two places.
Reporting a barrier
Contact us with the page, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you were using. Accessibility reports are treated as defects with the same priority as functional bugs, not as enhancement requests.
Something here unclear, or a claim you think we cannot support? Tell us — correcting this page is cheaper than defending it.
Design-partner program
Judge us on the mechanisms, not the marketing
We are working with a small number of US and Canadian nonprofits who feel the reconciliation and donor-data pain most acutely. Partners shape the sequence, see the honest status of every module, and are never charged for a capability that is still a prototype.
