Beneora and Neon One (Neon CRM)
Neon CRM is the constituent database at the centre of the Neon One platform. It is a deeper relationship system than Beneora intends to be, and this page records what Neon One documents.
How Neon One describes its audience · reviewed August 4, 2026
Neon One describes itself as a nonprofit relationship management platform for small and midsize nonprofits in the US and Canada, with Neon CRM as the core of the platform.

How Beneora differs
Statements about Beneora, not about them
Every line below describes our own design decisions. None of it asserts a gap in another product.
- 01 · Difference 1
Beneora is not a constituent CRM
No memberships, no volunteer management, no programme participation — not in Release 1 and not planned. If those matter to you, Neon CRM covers ground we deliberately do not.
- 02 · Difference 2
Beneora goes deeper on the settlement chain
Transaction, fee, payout, bank deposit, exception and close batch are the objects we build around, with the deposit-to-gift walk as a first-class workspace.
- 03 · Difference 3
Beneora ships an evidence chain
Restriction to allocation to fulfillment to attached evidence to a donor-visible outcome, traceable per gift.
- 04 · Difference 4
Beneora governs AI by approval
Every AI output is a proposal with sources, confidence and effect, requiring human approval that is logged. No autonomous financial action.
Choose Neon One when
- You need memberships, volunteers or programme participation in one database.
- You want vendor-led data migration and onboarding, which we do not offer.
- You need a system in production now, with support scale and operating history.
Beneora limits today
- Only identity, roles, tenants and organization records persist today; other modules are prototypes on illustrative data.
- No migration services, no partner network, no certifications to present to procurement.
- Our reporting surface is narrower than a mature CRM's report library and will stay narrower by design.

Neon One is a trademark of its owner. We use no vendor logos and quote only official pages. Vendor products change; check the linked pages for current details.
- 1Categories are described from published vendor material, public documentation and pricing pages, plus our own operational experience of the workflow.
- 2We compare categories of tool rather than scoring products against each other. A category comparison stays true longer than a feature table.
- 3We never state that a named vendor lacks a capability. Named-vendor pages quote only what that vendor documents, with a source link and a review date.
- 4No quantitative comparison is published unless both numbers come from a citable source under the same definition. We publish no invented percentages.
- 5Beneora rows state present status honestly, including modules that are prototypes on illustrative data.
- 6Anything we get wrong should be corrected. The correction link on every comparison page reaches the people who wrote it.
Found something inaccurate or out of date? Send a correction — we will fix the page and change the review date.

Build the donor-operations layer with us
We are working with a small number of US and Canadian nonprofits who feel the reconciliation and donor-data pain most acutely. Partners shape the sequence, see the honest status of every module, and are never charged for a capability that is still a prototype.
